Organic shape sectional black leather vintage sofa by Wiener Werkstätte, Austria 1970s

Very rare sectional sofa manufactured in the 1970s by Wiener Werkstätte The sofa consists of 4 interconnected segments that create a stunning sculptural, organic form, upholstered in soft, silky, top-notch quality black leather in great vintage condition. The leather was well maintained and has a beautiful patina without worn areas, cracks, and other types of defects that are common on the overused and poorly maintained vintage leather items. The designer is unknown although attribution to Luigi Colani can be found but poorly documented The structure of the sofa is made of solid wood and it’s covered in amazing black leather and original Wiener Werkstätte fabric marked with the logo. The sofa looks stunning placed in the center of the space as well as placed against the wall. Size: circa 63 cm (24.8") in height, 276 cm (108.7") is the length of the bigger section and 175 cm (68.9") is the length of the smaller section. The height of the seat is circa 37 cm (14.5")
