About this vintage design furniture

A very nice, rare office or side chair in highly recognizable Dutch style designed by Friso Kramer for Ahrend de Cirkel in the Netherlands around 1950. The model of this chair is named “Resort”, and it is one of the iconic designs that plays an important role in Dutch design history. It has a comfortable seat with high armrests and a minimalist ergonomic shape. It has a white lacquered metal base and is upholstered in green skai (faux leather). The upholstery to seat, back and armrests adds an extra level of comfort It remains in good, vintage condition with minor wear consistent with age and use, preserving a wonderful patina.
