Pair of vintage wooden frame armchairs "Bunny" by J. Chierowski, 1962
About this vintage design furniture
Designed in 1962 by Józef Chierowski, they went into production at Dolnośląska Fabryka Mebli in Świebodzice and after that factory burned down, they were produced in several other factories until the mid-1980s. The most popular chair of the communist era, produced one million pieces. Two unique pieces after a complete renovation. The wooden frames were cleaned of their old varnish and painted. The upholstery was completely renewed, sponges and straps were replaced, all finished with an elegant and colorful fabric, carefully selected to match the color of the frame. The seats were finished in the same color scheme.
