About this vintage design furniture
Here is a set of 4 rare and beautiful Scandinavian teak chairs designed by Arne Hovmand Olsen for Mogens Kold, Made in Denmark Teak frame, seat in original black leatherette. Spacious and very comfortable chairs, with a backrest that fits very well to the back. Curved backrest in wood and skai, brass detail. Elegant silhouette, very nice backrest... Beautiful finish made in Denmark. In very good condition. Stable and sound. Some discrete use marks on the woodwork. Original leatherette upholstery in good condition with a few snags on the skai but still discrete. See pictures. Seat height : 44 cm

About the designer
Egon A OLSEN
Egon A. Olsen was a Norwegian industrial designer who was born in 1922 and died in 2013. He studied design at the Oslo School of Applied Arts and began his career working for the industrial design firm Rastad & Relling Tegnekontor in the 1950s.
