About this vintage design furniture
Set of four teak dining chairs designed by Erik Buch for Oddense Maskinsnedkeri in the 1960s. Danish designer Erik Buch designed the "Model 49" chair in 1949. It is a typically Scandinavian chair with a solid teak frame, all curves and slender lines. The particularity and elegance of this chair lies in its "floating" seat. The seats and backs are lightly upholstered and covered with black leatherette. The seats have been restored by an upholsterer according to the rules of the art. Light wear due to age and use.
