About this vintage design furniture
Super quality pair of early 1950s ’’Kuba’’ lounge easy chairs designed by Bertil Fridhagen and produced in Sweden for Bröderna Andersson. Made from solid Thai teak with wonderful figuring to the wood, particularly the arms. Extremely comfortable with new foam filled cushions upholstered in green Kvadrat Clara 2 (0933) wool fabric. Very good original condition with age related patina, well cared for over the years, complete with original finish and factory Fagas seat strapping. Price for the pair.

About the designer
Bertil FRIDHAGEN
Bertil FRIDHAGEN was a Swedish industrial designer who was born in 1933 and died in 2003. He studied at the Stockholm School of Arts and Crafts and began his career in the 1950s working for various Swedish companies.
