About this vintage design furniture
A very stylish solid African teak (Afrormosia) three-seater sofa dating from the 1960s. Designer and manufacturer unknown, although it’s very similar to pieces from the workshops of Guy Rogers. Tapered bowling-pin legs, wonderfully curved backrest, applied sculptural armrests with interesting knop detail on the front legs. New luxury reflex foam filled cushions, upholstered in Abraham Moon pure wool grey mélange and new backrest Pirelli rubber strapping. There are a couple of small marks, and a compression dent on one arm (see last image).
