About this vintage design furniture
This K Series white, glossy, molded, plastic table lamp, Ghost Lamp, or OBA-Q lamp, was designed in 1972 by Shiro Kuramata. The lamp automatically shuts off to prevent damage to the plastic cover. The original plastic label is on the base.

About the designer
Shiro KURAMATA
Shiro Kuramata (1934-1991) was a Japanese designer known for his innovative work in furniture and interior architecture. Born in Tokyo, Kuramata studied at the Musashino School of Fine Arts before working as an industrial designer at Teikoku Mokei, an architectural modeling company.
