About this vintage design furniture
Large yellow Granada pendant designed by Aloys F. Gangkofner (1920-2003) for Peill & Putzler, 1950s. This pendant lamp is mouth blown and comes in several colours and designs, but the same model. Good condition, very small chip at the bottom of the edge (see last photo). Dimensions: h x d 50 x 22 cm.

About the designer
Alois Ferdinand GANGKOFNER
Alois Ferdinand Gangkofner (1920-2003) was a German designer and master glassmaker. Born in Bavaria, Gangkofner studied at the Zwiesel glass school and then worked as an assistant in several glass studios in Germany. In 1949, he became artistic director of the glass company Peill & Putzler in Düren, where he created many modern and innovative glass pieces.
