Vintage gilded brass chandelier with swarovski balls for Ernst Palme, Germany 1960
About this vintage design furniture
This stunning chandelier was made by Ernst Palme in Westheim, Germany in the 1960s. This lamp has gilded brass arms with large Swarovski balls and 33 lamps (E14). The hand-cut lead crystal Swarowski balls are impressive because they turn 1,000 colors in sunlight. The lighting manufacturer Ernst Palme had valuable design experiences with Swarovski crystals in the 1950s to 1960s. This lamp is an example of the Hollywood Regency style. The chandelier is in very good vintage condition and has been carefully cleaned. The gilded brass surfaces show minimal signs of life. But some patinas and small marks do not detract from the elegance of this treasure.
