About this vintage design furniture
Pair of Scandinavian teak armchairs "PJ 56" with high back designed by Grete Jalk and published by Poul Jeppesen in the 60s. This high back model is rarer than the low back ones and is stamped by the designer and the "Danish furniture makers control" under the seat (picture). The teak frame is in good condition. Only small finishing buttons are missing on the top of the back of one armchair but they do not interfere with the aesthetics of the armchairs. The cushions are completely new with a high density bultex foam and a nice quality fabric (photo). Seat height 40cm
