About this vintage design furniture
Elegant design for this original Ercole Barovier floor lamp from 1940s. The stem is made in Murano cord glass with brass inserts and original raw fabric lampshade. The lamp is in very good vintage condition, cosistent with age and use. The electric system has been re-wired and it is works up to 220 V (European wiring), suitable with led bulbs. The lampshade has some stains on the fabric surface, no damage. A beautiful collector’s lamp and of sure effect for your home, studio or Gallery.

Barovier is the name of a famous family of Italian glassmakers who have been active in the glass industry for over seven centuries. Among the most notable members of this family is Ercole Barovier (1889-1974), a designer and master glassmaker who played an important role in the 20th-century renaissance of the Murano glass industry.
