Large Murano "Sommerso" glass vase by Alessandro Mandruzzato - Italy, 1960s. "Sommerso" is a technique developed in Murano in the 1930s which was very popular in the 1950s and 1960s. The result is a glass with contrasting colours that is cased by a clear layer. Colours: green and clear. Dimensions: height: 20 cm; width: 5 cm; depth: 5 cm. Very good vintage condition. A couple of tiny flea bites.
