About this vintage design furniture
Daybed model Minvera was designed in the 1960s by Peter Hvidt & Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen and manufactured by France & Son. The wooden frame of the sofa is made of solid teak, preserved in its original, very good condition. The seat and backrest are upholstered in a new graphite-colored fabric.

About the designer
Peter HVIDT & Orla MOLGAARD NIELSEN
Hvidt & Mølgaard Nielsen is a mid-20th-century Danish design duo consisting of Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard Nielsen. Peter Hvidt was born in Copenhagen in 1916 and studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts before working as a designer for various companies. Orla Mølgaard Nielsen was born in Copenhagen in 1907 and also studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, before working as an architect and designer.
