Beautiful ARKIPELAGO candlestick holder in shiny and smooth glass. This candlestick is part of the ARKIPELAGO series designed by Timo Sarpaneva for Iittala from Finland. This item has a triangle shape and is one of the many shapes designed by Sarpaneva for the beautiful ARKIPELAGO series which is made from candlesticks of both shapes and sizes. This container is made by forming many layers of glass and we can see those layers looking through the glass. It is a beautiful glass design with irregular lines and air bumps. The end product is a beautiful heavy piece of art glass. Very post-modern. This listing is for two holders. The piece is in very good vintage condition, no chips, no cracks and no flea bites.
