About this vintage design furniture
A geometric chair designed by Radboud Van Beekum, constructed from folded steel with leather seating. The original FM60 cube chair was introduced in 1980 during the Triennale in Poznan, Poland. Initially it was a flatpack, epoxed frame with canvas seating in white, grey and black. From 1983 the FM61 in coloured plywood and FM62 in saddle leather appeared, delivered assembled. About the designer
Radboud VAN BEEKUM
Radboud van Beekum was a Dutch industrial designer who was born in 1949 and died in 1991. He studied at the Arnhem Academy of Fine Arts in the Netherlands and began his career working for the famous Dutch designer Gerrit Rietveld.
