About this vintage design furniture
This pair of shaped sputnik sculpture was designed by Curtis Jere, in USA, during the 1960’s. It is made of metal and nickel plated with a sunburst shaped pattern. Curtis Jere is well known in America by its metal sunbursts, explosions of brass raindrops and mirrors suspended by exquisitely crafted brass petals. It can also be used as ceiling sculptures, you can hang them by using the clip in the middle. They are with a nice patina from age.

Curtis JERE
Curtis Jere was an American design duo consisting of Curtis Freiler and Jerry Fels, who worked together from 1963 to 2008. Their brand name, "Curtis Jere", is a combination of their first names. They are best known for their metal wall and interior sculptures, which were mass-produced from the 1960s onwards.
