About this vintage design furniture
Duo cutlery set for 6 people, in polished and brushed stainless steel, with rosewood handle, designed by Carl Auböck III for Rosenthal in 1967. The set consists of: - 6 table knives; - 6 table forks; - 6 table spoons; - 6 fruit knives; - 6 fruit forks; - 6 coffee spoons or dessert. The cutlery is all marked "Rosenthal Rostfrei Austria", except for one table knife which is marked "Rosenthal Studio Linie Germany". The cutlery is new, it has never been used. Having been stored in boxes for 50 years they may have some patina, but have no signs of use. The original boxes are also present, but they show the signs of aging.

Karl Auböck was an Austrian designer who was born in Vienna in 1924 and died there in 1985. He was the son of Karl Auböck Senior, a famous woodcarver.
