About this vintage design furniture
Sculpted wall panel, Studio Ponzio for Group 4, 1931, constructivism. Hand-carved panel, a masterpiece of Italian pine multiplex. The group of artists called this social art because they wanted to showcase the new industrial material multiplex. The artist plays with the different layers of wood and uses them in creative ways to create shapes and contrasts. Nerone and Patuzzi were inspired by Studio Ponzio and continued to work with similar ideologies and techniques.W 174 cm, D 4 cm, H 251 cm
