About this vintage design furniture
Danish tall and spacious teak bookcase made most likely from the 50s in the style of Johannes Sorth, with beautiful details in solid wood and soft organic lines. If features a small bar with glass sliding doors with couple of rounded shelves inside, perfect for storing glasses etc. On the bottom there is a 41cm deep cabinet with adjustable shelf. The top shelves are 21cm deep and teak legs unscrew ( which is very helpful for transportation ). Great original condition SKU 2145

About the designer
Johannes SORTH
Johannes Sorth was a renowned Danish designer who was born in 1937 and died in 2017. He is best known for his work in industrial design, particularly for his elegant modern furniture designs. Sorth studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in Copenhagen, graduating in 1963.
