About this vintage design furniture

This stool is of unknown origin but likely of South American origin, and produced during the 60s, 70s or 80s. South America is very well known for their carved teak art, furnishings and furniture. This piece however has a very modernist look, with similarities to Angel Pazmino and Sergio Rodriguez, and will look excellent in any midcentury modern interior. This specific teak stool is carved with Inca inspired figures on both planks. The planks are folded together and the stool is height adjustable in 3 positions. The stool is very solid build and the craftsmanship is really visible. It can be used both as a small stool or as an ottoman. In good vintage condition with only limited wear.
