About this vintage design furniture
Swedish lamp from the 1960s by Carl Thore. The model is called Trava. The Trava is the most popular and widespread design of Carl Thore lamps, as well as its most famous design today. The lamp comes in many versions as it has been produced with several variations in style, size, and color. The lamp was mainly sold in Sweden and Denmark. The lamp is in very good condition for its age, with slight signs of use, a few minor scratches. The lamp has been thoroughly cleaned, a new approx. 2-meter long braided cable has been installed. Possibility to replace the cable to any length. A roof lining is attached to each lamp.

About the designer
Carl THORE
Carl THORE was a Swedish designer born in 1917 and died in 2007. He is best known for his glass lighting designs, notably for Flygsfors Glasbruk, for whom he worked from 1947 to 1959.
