About this vintage design furniture
This Bauhaus style light was designed for Gispen, Holland by Wim Rietveld in 1936. It's nicknamed the Mushroom light for obvious reasons. The light came with two pull switches which were changed to a push button in 1939. In 1957 the name changed to Giso 5315. Weighted base and red enamelled shade. In very good condition, the shade is mint.
