About this vintage design furniture

Vintage Saturno pendant lamp model 5635 designed by Kazuo Motozawa (Tokyo, Japan) for Staff Leuchten in 1972. This rare ribbed pendant lamp is made of different chrome rings, stacked on top of each other. Due to the openings between the rings, a beautiful light effect is created. The condition of this vintage hanging lamp is still good with normal traces of use and wear (see photos) and the wiring has been checked by an electrician. Dimensions: h x d 17 x 30 cm. This pendant lamp won the IF design prize in 1972 (International Forum design prize). Source: Staff Leuchten catalogue, 1977 and book 1000 lights, Taschen, page 259.
