About this vintage design furniture
Mid-century Modern teak writing desk designed by Arne Vodder for Sibast in the sixties. Made as model 207 by Sibast largely with teak veneer although much of the desk has been made with solid teak like the flaps on either end of the desk. The flaps are typically for Arne Vodder. Storage underneath the desk comprises of two drawers for writing goods and two huge file drawers. All internals in solid mahogany by the way. In the years to come not much paper file storage is probably needed but these drawers are true storage wonders for all your storage needs. This desk shows some visible repairs on the left drawer block, has some scratches and colour differences on the leaf but is overall still in good vintage condition after all these years. But that gives this piece of vintage furniture character and in this case also ensures the attractive price of a Arne Vodder
