Vintage gilded Louis XV floor lamp, Lucien Gau

Louis XV gilt floor lamp, Lucien Gau. Equipped with a bronze reflector, this gilded Louis XV bronze floor lamp emits a strong light towards the ceiling. This reflector takes the shape of a simple inverted bronze cone, decorated with some ornaments at its tip. The base of this lamp post is decorated with grooves and a ball-shaped ornament, and widens at its lower end into a solid and stable support, also decorated with assorted leaves. This floor lamp is capable of accommodating one 300W halogen bulb. The manufacturing quality is remarkable. The bronze is solid and has an old gold patina.
