About this vintage design furniture
Magnificent executive desk designed by the immense American designer Richard Schultz and published by Knoll International USA in 1963. This large-scale desk is a real Knoll nugget. Its manufacture is of very high quality. Made of dark brown-plum stained wood, it has minimalist lines reminiscent of the modernist style. These minimalist lines highlight the use of chrome-plated metal. Indeed, there is a beautiful contrast between the colour of the wood and the chrome look of the structure but also on the top. This desk has two shelves, one of which is glass on the right, and 3 drawers, one of which is a large compartmentalized cabinet on the right. The desk is lightly varnished. Perfect combination with the Knoll USA coffee table by Richard Schultz in the same color and the pair of Giulio Marelli armchairs chiné at Paris airport.
