Set of two Reu Ferou table lamps designed by Man Ray and Dino Gavina. Edition, Dino Gavina for Sirrah, 1994. These tw0 lamps are from 2008 and are still in good condition with traces of use; small spots and wear on the cardboard canvas diffuser. Material: chromed metal, cardboard canvas. In the studio located in Rue Férou (Paris) there were some light bulbs, scattered in the room, holding some cardboard hats, simply directing the light with the minimum. “I’ve always made everything with noting,” Man Ray says. Dino Gavina had the idea to use them and Man Ray gave personally the specifications for producing a lamp whose lamp-shade he made by his hand as sample.
