About this vintage design furniture
Marcello Cuneo worked for eight years with designer Gio Ponti. Since the 1960s, Cuneo has been a pioneer of Italian interior and industrial design who has become so well known around the world as a synonym for high quality design. This pair of Longobarda table lamps dates from 1966 and was the first ceramic lamp cast in one piece. It was exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art in New York at the "Italy, New Domestic Landscape" exhibition and at the "Introduction to Design" exhibition at the Israel Museum in Jerusalem. Both lamps are in very good condition.
