About this vintage design furniture
Bronze with green patina "la danseuse aux cymbales" signed Lucien Charles Edouard Alliot 1877- 1967 on its black portor marble base. (A glued cymbal and a small chip on a marble base, see photo) LUCIEN CHARLES EDOUARD ALLIOT: 1877 1967 - French School. Student of Barrias and Coutan at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts de Paris. Exhibited at the Salon des Arts Français in 1905, obtained a travel grant and a third Medal in 1907. Gold Medal in 1920, Member and Out of Competition, he was a member of the sculpture jury from 1934 to 1939. Excellent international rating.
