Robin Day and Hille have developed seats using this new durable and economical material in collaboration with the British petrochemical company Shell. Robin Day's concept included key elements such as hidden fasteners using an integral mounting boss, a fully rolled edge to add strength and a range of bases that gave the chair the ability to appeal to a multitude of markets.
