Superior quality, spacious, bookcase cabinet and elaborated secretary made by Omann Jun in Denmark in the 60s. It is entirely made out or rich grain rosewood."Danish Furnituremaker Control " burn mark on the back of the piece.Very good original condition with minor signs of wear and small fading spots on the lacquer, adequant to its age though. About the designer
Gunni OMANN
Gunni Omann (1928-2016), also known as Omann Jun, was a renowned Danish designer and cabinetmaker. He is best known for his teak furniture of the 1950s and 1960s, which have become icons of modern Danish design.
