About this vintage design furniture
Marble Djuna side table designed by Takahama Kazuhide for Simon, Italy in 1983. This table has a chromed steel frame and a loose oval-shaped top of black marquina marble. Takahama combined Eastern and Western design principles. This side table is still in a very good condition. This is a production by Simon, since 26 September 2013 the Djuna side table is made by Cassina. Dimensions: h x w x d 42 x 49 x 58 cm.

About the designer
Kazuhide TAKAHAMA
Kazuhide Takahama was a Japanese designer who was born in Tokyo in 1930 and died in 2010. He studied architecture at Tokyo University before working for his father's design company, Takahama Industry Corporation. In 1955, he moved to Milan, where he began working for the Italian design firm Gavina.
