About this vintage design furniture
Hanging lamp from the fifties. Organic formed Glass Shade, made from thick glass. Nice decor on the opalin glass. Genuine vintage object. Lighting: 1x E27, 60 watt, european standard, up to 250 volts. The lamp is fully working. Good condition. No chips on the glass.

About the designer
Alois Ferdinand GANGKOFNER
Alois Ferdinand Gangkofner (1920-2003) was a German designer and master glassmaker. Born in Bavaria, Gangkofner studied at the Zwiesel glass school and then worked as an assistant in several glass studios in Germany. In 1949, he became artistic director of the glass company Peill & Putzler in Düren, where he created many modern and innovative glass pieces.
