Design Market at Art et Décoration !

If you regularly follow Design Market on social media, you've surely seen that we were an official partner of the Art et Décoration trade show which took place in Paris on February 11, 12, 13 and 14! The magazine Art et Décoration was born in 1897 with the desire to combine tradition and modernity. Over the years, it has taken its readership on a journey to discover sumptuous decorations and eclectic styles. As a trendsetter, the magazine wanted to be the initiator of the 1st decorating show for the general public in Paris. A rare opportunity to gather in a single place all the trades related to interior design! The many exhibitors were thus divided into 4 major groups:

  • Art Trades: upholsterers, ironmongers, art gallery owners, ceramists, cabinetmakers, gilders, mosaicists, glassmakers, mirror makers, sculptors, framers, taxidermists...
  • Lighting : lighting fixtures, furnishing and decorative fabrics, household linen, tableware, ambient scents, paintings...
  • Equipment and furnishings: kitchen designers, bathrooms, flooring, verandas, skylights, heating, stairs, painting, fireplaces, pool designers ...
  • Furniture: From the living room to the terrace through the bedroom, dressing room and entrance, a wide selection of furniture combining tradition and modernity.

But also at an auction organized by Piasa. Design Market was not only one of the official partners of the show but also exhibitor. Present on booth M32, we wanted to take you into our vintage universe and present you with very beautiful design pieces from the 20th century! We hope, for those who were able to come, that the magic worked and that our decoration won you over! For those who were not present, we let you discover the pictures of our booth!"
