Today's travertine is no longer content to just perfect floors or construction, it is very much in vogue for its use in furniture!

What is travertine?

Travertine travertine, also known as "limestone tuff" is a natural stone of limestone origin that forms near water springs or hot springs. Popular in ancient times, and formerly quarried in Italy, this stone was used for many historical monuments such as the Colosseum. Today, travertine is largely quarried in Turkey.

The travertine is an aesthetically pleasing yet durable rock with irregular light colors. Depending on these rough edges, it can meet shades of beige, white, gray, yellow, brown, or even ochre.

How to pair the travertine table

Paired with light shades such as beige, white or pastel, terracotta colored furniture immediately catches the eye and gives your room a boost. The travertine table, a neutral color, has the advantage of being able to match most interiors.

Favorite,

Beige, a warm color, will ideally pair with colors from the same palette (beige, off-white, brown), but not only that, it can also be a nice contrast with colors such as black or terra cota.

We avoid,

Beige doesn't pair with cool colors like gray or blue.
