Bo was renowned for his talent in creating functional and aesthetically pleasing furniture, with particular attention paid to material quality and ergonomics. His creations are characterized by clean lines and skilful use of wood.
Wohlert and Bo began collaborating in the 1950s, pooling their skills and passion for design. Their partnership led to some remarkable achievements, including the design of the famous Louis Poulsen PH5 lamp. This lamp, created in 1958, is a true classic of Danish design, characterized by its inverted bell-shaped shade that diffuses a soft, even light.
In addition to the PH5 lamp, Wohlert and Bo have designed other iconic pieces, such as chairs, tables and shelving, that reflect their shared aesthetic approach based on simplicity, functionality and craftsmanship.
