About this vintage design furniture

Wassily is an iconic armchair that doesn't need presentations. Here is an original Gavina edition realised between 1962 and 1968. The furniture manufacturer Gavina acquired the rights to the B3 armchair in 1962 and gave it the name Wassily chair. When Knoll International took over Gavina in 1968, the production of the Wassily Chair continued to this day. This Bauhaus icon designed by Marcel Breuer in the 1920s as B3 is good condition with an attractive patina. The cognac leather is really rare and it's still the original one by giving an extra value to this genuine piece. Another important sign of originality is shown by the steel tubing where the tubes' ends were severed and consequently totally flat. A rare tan Italian leather Wassily with natural signs of the time passed (more than 60 y.o.) but with an inner authentic soul! Last but not least, the design of the chair allows a very comfortable seating. This chair is perfect for any place and anybody. Even 100 years after its creation, this chair is still fresh, modern, and desirable. Reference : 280838
