About this vintage design furniture

The 40/4 chair was designed by renowned designer David Rowland for Howe. Crafted in beautifully Reeded Beach wood and chic bent chrome these chairs were created for St.Paul’s Cathedral and Westminster abbey and are still there today. Designed for easy storage and stylish création the chairs receive their monica by their ability to be stacked up to 40 chairs high. This set of four is part of the initial created chairs from St.Paul’s and they still feature their number that each chair received as to organise and suitably be ordered. This set of four is a great piece of British design history. Condition Report: Good condition, some surface rust to the chrome, the wood is in great condition but there are some marks commensurate with age.
