About this vintage design furniture
Amazing and very comfortable Ribbon Chair with Ottoman.
It is designed by the famous Pierre Paulin (France) in the 60's and produced by Artifort (The Netherlands).
This set is produced in the 80's.
Both the chair and the ottoman have the original Kvadrat Tonus (black) fabric.
The foam and the fabric are in very good condition.
The feet have the normal traces of use (see the pictures).
An Iconic design by Pierre Paulin, these are as much pieces of sculpture as furniture.
Sexy, playful, exuberant yet comfortable, his furniture is above all supple and lively.
Featured in the collection of the National Gallery of Victoria in Melbourne, Australia, and the MoMa, Museum of Modern Art, in New York.
