Mid-century Danish coffee table

A fantastic large coffee table with two side drawers that run the length of the table. We bought this table at an auction in Germany in the summer of 2021. We fell in love with its size, its simple shape and the fantastic drawers. One drawer even features a removable invertible inlay. The other drawer has multiple compartments including one for cigarettes. Talk about mid-century! The table is a fantastic example of Scandinavian teak mid-century furniture. The table’s teak was in good condition but had to be completely stripped and refinished. We chose simple Danish Oil to accentuate the wood’s grain and color. The table was refurbished in the summer of 2022 in Stockholm. Reference : 271807
