Italian vintage handblown Murano glass and chrome floor lamp, 1970s

Space-age floor lamp with a spectacular thick Murano glass globe comes from Italy from the 1970s. A transparent glass shade with a violet pattern provides surprising illumination when is switched on. A double click switch gives two/or three possibilities of lighting up. The remarkable spherical shade rests on chrome-plated supports and base. It is a unique object dedicated to all those people who want to give a touch of the unusual combination of art and modern design to their home decoration. Reminds of Toni Zuccheri works from the same period. The lamp is in excellent vintage condition with original wiring - 240 cm cord length with a double click foot-switch. Reference : 271337
