About this vintage design furniture
Pair of 1950's vintage armchairs in curved ash (beech) and fabric, an aesthetic and technical challenge. Its base is made of a single piece of curved solid wood that forms the armrest. A brass ring, the only point of attachment, joins the base and the backrest, ensuring flexibility and seating comfort.Bow Wood models published by Steiner. About the designer
Hugues STEINER
1926 - 1991Hugues Steiner was a French designer born in Mulhouse in 1933 and died in Paris in 2014. He studied at the Strasbourg School of Applied Arts, then worked as a graphic designer and art director in several advertising agencies in France and Switzerland.
