Pair of vintage Dd01 wall mounted night stands by Martin Visser for 't Spectrum, 1956

This rare pair of 'Bergiyk' model DD01 metal floating cabinets were designed by Martin Visser and produced by ’t Spectrum in the Netherlands. The cabinets have grey-lacquered metal frames with white and black lacquered wooden drawers. They look the same but there are some small differences between them: The greys are slightly different, the drawer constructions are slightly different and one is 1cm deeper than the other. The black drawer has a removable glass separator inside whereas the white drawer never one. The differences could be because they were manufactured in different years...but the differences hardly notice, especially when they are mounted each side of a bed. Reference : 263532
