Mid-century 5-arm floor lamp by Carlo Nason for Mazzega, Italy

Very rare five-armed large mid century modern floor lamp. Design by Carlo Nason for Mazzega. Made in Italy. Very elegant design with many details, which make this lamp so exceptional. Metal frame with heavy marble base. The bases for the glass shades are brass plated. Typical for Mazzega are the mouth-blown Murano glass shades, which are fluently transparent and go to white. Shades are simply plugged into the sockets. Three-stage rotary switch on the lower metal frame. Turning to the right turns on one bulb, then three and then all five bulbs together. Very high quality workmanship in 100% original condition. Fully functional. Five E14 sockets for max. 40W each. In very good condition with very few slight signs of wear. No damages to the frame and the electrical system. All glasses are original and without cracks or chipping. Makes a very nice soft light. Suitable for all living areas and very decorative.
