About this vintage design furniture
Danish Modern teak secretary cabinet by
Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard-Nielsen.
Manufactured by Søborg Møbelfabrik in
Denmark during the 1960s. Made from
solid teak with drop – down surface
featuring finger – joint details carved
handles and dovetailed drawers. Good
vintage condition with signs of wear
and patina.

Peter HVIDT & Orla MOLGAARD NIELSEN
Hvidt & Mølgaard Nielsen is a mid-20th-century Danish design duo consisting of Peter Hvidt and Orla Mølgaard Nielsen. Peter Hvidt was born in Copenhagen in 1916 and studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts before working as a designer for various companies. Orla Mølgaard Nielsen was born in Copenhagen in 1907 and also studied at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, before working as an architect and designer.
