About this vintage design furniture
Coffee set by Massimo Materassi designed for MAS Italy in 1984. Materassi graduated in 1979 at the University of Florence, Faculty of Architecture. After a brief experience in a professional studio in Brescia, he opened his own design studio in 1982. He designed this coffee set for MAS Italy in 1984. The set is completely made in Memphis style and finished with the bacteria pattern. Today, Materassi is still active as a product designer and architect. The set consists of 1 coffee jug, 5 cups, 5 saucers and 1 sugar bowl. The set stands in a a good condition and is marked MAS on the bottom.
