About this vintage design furniture
Iconic and essential model of the design of the xxe century created by charles and ray eames. Rare original edition of eames dkx -1 chair. "wire chair "dkx. Rare first european version manufactured by contura fehlbaum herman miller, germany, 1952. Certified edition. Original label present on 1 or 2 chairs. Very good condition. Nice quality and finish. The original covers in good condition with some defects of use, no longer reissued today. Edited at the time only in these two colors: gray and orange. Seat in white lacquered steel wire, base in chromed steel. Original plastic glides in good condition. Original orange cover with metal frame in good condition despite some age-related defects. Model dkx-1 is not edited anymore, model dkx-2 (bikini) is re-edited, it is possible to buy new original bikini covers or just cushions or to restore the original covers according to your wishes. Dimensions: width: 48 cm, depth: 51 cm, height: 83 cm, seat height: 47 cm
