About this vintage design furniture
Impressive 5 bay free-standing wall unit with five cabinets, nine shelves and two wider shelves that could work as desks. It provides just enough space for storage and display of books and decoration. An essence of Scandinavian modern modular shelving system. “Ergo” was designed by John Texmon and Einar Blindheim for Blindheim Mobelfabrikk made in Norway in 1960s. The slightly curved edges make a warm impression, and sculptural rails create an elegant and grand looking statement.
This shelving system includes:
- 1 cabinet with sliding doors H: 46 cm x W: 79 cm x D: 41 cm
- 2 cabinets with 4 drawers and sliding door H: 42 cm x W: 79 cm x D: 35 cm, drawers height: 8.5 cm
- 2 desks/shelves 42 cm deep
- 2 cabinets with glass sliding doors H: 41 cm x W: 79 cm x D: 22 cm
- 9 shelves 21 cm deep
- 4 teak rail legs-supports 205 cm high
- 2 shorter teak rails 156 cm high
Overall great original condition with minimal traces of use. All of the cabinets are clean and doors and drawers working properly.
