About this vintage design furniture
A Mid Century for draw chest of drawers designed by John and Sylvia Reid in the 1960s and manufactured in the United Kingdom by Stag.
This chest is in Walnut with ebonized edges.
In excellent condition having been restored and refinished with danish oil.

About the designer
John REID
John and Sylvia Reid were a British design couple known for their contribution to modern design in the UK in the 1950s and 1960s. John Reid was born in 1918 in Newcastle upon Tyne and studied sculpture at the city's School of Fine Arts. Sylvia Reid, born in Glasgow in 1917, studied painting at the Glasgow School of Art.
